 Its been one month since the S.A.M. National Convention in Vegas and we are still floating (pun intended)

As Father and Son, Gene Alcorn IV and Gene Alcorn V at their Dealer's Booth next to Nielsen Magic and Daytona Magic, met many fellow Magicians and fans. Gene IV and Gene V met the likes of Dirk Losander; his "Losander's Floating Table" has been incorporated into many magicians' repertoire. They also had the great opportunity to meet Michael Carbonaro of "The Carbonaro Effect" and Mat Franco, another great magician. Gene V even hung out with Jeff McBride (also known as Magnus) and George Schindler (currently lifetime dean of S.A.M.) Finally meeting Mac King at his honorary roast was the cherry on top. We were so happy to be apart of such a wonderful gathering and we will see you at the next one!

The Society of American Magicians National Convention from January 18th to January 21st of 2020, we are putting some final touches on our flagship illusions. This illusion in particular is a commemorative piece to Howard Thurston, a traveling stage magician from Columbus, OH.

  This week, we were proud to find an original Alcorn Illusion displayed in the American Museum of Magic. The Thin Model - Saw The Lady In Half, built and designed by Gene Alcorn II.  

Robert Lund, Magician and Collector, founded the American Museum of Magic in 1978. The Alcorn Illusion you see displayed in their museum was acquired by Robert in 1979 from fellow Magician John McConnell.

Born into a family of magicians and raised in Western New York, he is revitalizing his family's practice, by bringing old and new magic to the eyes of all.
